The 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is designed for “unlimited exploration”.
The wraps have come off the 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally, described as a next-generation global adventure bike for serious long-distance riders who don’t stop where the bitumen ends. With a 30-litre fuel tank, longer-travel suspension and a host of new electronics, it’s claimed to be the most advanced Multistrada yet.
Powered by the 125kW (170hp)/121Nm 1158cc Granturismo V4, the Rally features a counter-rotating crankshaft for smoother response and exceptional stability across all surfaces. Valve checks are only required every 60,000km, and oil changes every 15,000km or 24 months, reinforcing Ducati’s focus on reliability for world travellers.
Smarter, safer, more capable
For 2026 the Multistrada V4 Rally gains a host of intelligent rider aids including the new Forward Collision Warning system, part of Ducati’s radar suite alongside Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection. Also new is the Automatic Lowering Device, which reduces seat height at low speeds to make stop-starts and tight manoeuvres easier, then raises the bike back to full height as you accelerate away.
The updated Adaptive Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO system reads both terrain and riding style, adjusting damping on the fly for maximum comfort and control. A higher swingarm pivot is said to improve traction under load, while a large 280mm rear disc enhances braking performance.
Built for distance
Long-range comfort and two-up touring are central to the Rally’s design. The windscreen is larger and wider, heated grips are standard, and the bike now includes a centrestand and five-level heated seats on higher trims. The seat height and suspension can be configured to suit different rider sizes and load setups.
Two new colour schemes – Ducati Red with brushed aluminium tank and Jade Green with gold wheels (+$700) – make the Rally instantly recognisable. As before, tubeless spoked wheels, robust engine guards and long-travel suspension underline its off-road intent.
Trim levels and availability
Three variants will be offered:
-
Radar ($43,800) – featuring Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Forward Collision Warning.
-
Adventure Travel & Radar ($48,100) – adds aluminium panniers and heated seats.
-
Full Adventure ($50,500) – includes an Akrapovič muffler and carbon-fibre front mudguard.
Deliveries of the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally will start in Australian in April 2026.
ACCESSORIES AND GEAR
The new Multistrada V4 Rally can be tailored with a wide range of factory accessories. Riders can choose from multiple seat heights to suit individual ergonomics, several windscreen options, and a complete suite of luggage solutions – from tank and tail bags to top boxes – to enhance its long-distance touring credentials.
The aluminium panniers, standard on the Adventure Travel & Radar and Full Adventure trims, now use a redesigned locking system that allows them to be opened and closed without the key, even when removed from the bike – a practical upgrade for daily use and extended travel alike.
To complement the motorcycle, Ducati has developed a range of touring apparel designed specifically for riders who cover big distances in changing conditions. The Tour Summer outfit features large ventilation panels, removable sleeves and a three-layer system with thermal liner and waterproof membrane, offering adaptability across all climates. For cooler rides, the Strada C5 suit combines durable stretch fabric with modular insulation, including a removable Gore-Tex membrane and an inner down jacket that can also be worn off the bike once you’re parked up for the night.
