CFMOTO’s inaugural MT Trek will take MT and MT-X owners from Eildon to Canberra over three days of supported adventure riding, with packages starting at $1490 per person.
CFMOTO is giving owners of its MT and MT-X adventure bikes a reason to pack their riding gear and head for the hills, with registrations open for the inaugural MT Trek.
Running from 8–12 November, 2026, the event includes three full days of riding and four nights’ accommodation, with a route stretching from Eildon in Victoria to Canberra.
Along the way, riders will tackle High Country dirt roads and travel through parts of the Snowy region, with coastal scenery also on the itinerary.
CHOOSE YOUR OWN PACE
The event is exclusive to CFMOTO MT and MT-X owners and is designed to accommodate varying levels of riding experience.
The main route follows maintained dirt roads, with more challenging alternatives available for riders keen to test themselves. Participants can ride with a group, head out with a few mates or navigate independently using the supplied GPX files.
CFMOTO will provide sweep riders, support vehicles and technical assistance, while luggage will be transported between accommodation stops. That should leave riders with less to carry and more time to concentrate on enjoying the route.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Packages cost $1490 per person for twin-share accommodation or $1940 per person for a single room.
Both options include:
- Four nights’ accommodation
- Three full days of adventure riding
- Planned routes and GPX navigation files
- Welcome and farewell dinners
- Sweep riders and support vehicles
- Luggage transport
- CFMOTO event and technical support
- Event photography and video coverage
- A rider merchandise pack
With accommodation and route planning taken care of, the Trek could appeal to owners keen to venture further afield with the reassurance of an organised support crew. Evenings will also give participants a chance to catch up and compare notes with other MT riders.
THE FIRST OF MANY
CFMOTO intends to make MT Trek an annual event, with future editions exploring different regions around Australia.
For now, the focus is on the inaugural Eildon-to-Canberra trip. Places are limited, and CFMOTO is encouraging interested owners to register early.
