Triumph has launched Alpine and Desert Editions of its Tiger 900 and 1200 adventure bikes.
Triumph has introduced new Alpine and Desert special-edition models across its Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200 models in Australia, with the bikes now in store and pricing starting at $25,890 rideaway for the entry-level 900 Alpine. Other models include the 900 Desert ($26,990), 1200 Alpine ($30,790) and 1200 Desert ($32,490).
The special editions bring enhanced specification and distinctive styling to the capable Tiger platform. Both Alpine and Desert versions feature exclusive paint schemes and graphics inspired by mountain and desert terrain, respectively.
On the Tiger 900 Alpine and Desert editions, Triumph has fitted a premium Akrapovič silencer as standard – the first time on a Triumph adventure model – and adds protective bars in the form of engine protection on the Alpine and fuel-tank protection on the Desert.
The Tiger 1200 Alpine and Desert Editions also gain heated rider and pillion seats, along with Blind Spot Assist and Lane Change Assist as standard – rider-aid technology appearing for the first time on any Tiger 1200 model.

Mechanically the bikes carry over the established 888cc triple in the 900s and the 1160cc triple in the 1200s.
