TESTED | BEELINE MOTO II

The compact and easy to use Beeline Moto II makes navigation a cinch.

Compact, minimalist and purpose-built for riders, the Beeline Moto II is a sleek navigation device that packs impressive functionality into a unit barely larger than a watch face. Finished in stealthy black, it mounts neatly to your ’bar without cluttering your cockpit – perfect for nakedbikes, classics or customs where space and style matter.

The clear, high-contrast display is designed to be readable in all lighting conditions. It’s glove-friendly and simple to operate, showing intuitive turn-by-turn navigation arrows that make following a route effortless. Paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth, it uses the Beeline app to deliver either route guidance or a compass mode.

The app allows you to choose between ‘Fast’ and ‘Fun’ routes, and there are options to avoid tolls, ferries and highways. You can also share routes and import GPX routes, and record and save your journeys for future reference

A handy extra feature is the digital speedometer. On older bikes with small, hard-to-read analogue gauges – especially for riders whose eyes aren’t what they used to be – the bright, precise speed readout (pictured below fitted to my ’96 Fireblade) is a real plus.

The Moto II’s IP67 water and dust resistance means it’s built to shrug off the elements, while the rechargeable battery lasts for up to 14 hours of continuous use. Charging is via USB-C, and the interface is as simple and clean as the unit itself.

Beeline offers a range of optional mounts, from cross-bar clamps to adhesive pads and mirror-stem brackets, so you can fit the Moto II to almost any bike without fuss. The unit itself attaches to its mount with a twist – quickly and easily – and you can remove it in a jiffy and pop it in your pocket to prevent theft when parked.

Lightweight, stylish and easy to use, the Beeline Moto II is a brilliant navigation solution for riders who want function without bulk – and the ability to switch between bikes in seconds.
