Thousands of Harley-Davidson riders across Australia and New Zealand have joined forces for the inaugural United We Ride event, raising $150,000 for The Salvation Army.
Harley-Davidson’s first United We Ride – National Harley Day saw more than 2900 riders and Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) members take to the roads on 6 September, 2025, in a coordinated ride from dealerships across both countries.
The event was designed to celebrate the freedom of motorcycling while highlighting the strong sense of community that defines Harley-Davidson ownership. Riders collectively covered more than 241,000km and raised significant funds to support The Salvation Army’s frontline programs.

Nigel Keough, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson ANZ, said the turnout exceeded expectations. “The overwhelming support for our first United We Ride is a testament to the passionate community that defines Harley-Davidson. We are incredibly proud of our riders for not only celebrating the freedom of the ride but for also making a real difference for local communities.”
The Salvation Army welcomed the support, with Major David Collinson noting the impact the funds will have. “We are so grateful for Harley-Davidson and the amazing motorcycling community across ANZ. The funds raised will directly benefit our frontline programs, helping those who need it most,” he said.
