MV Agusta to open new Australian subsidiary soon.
MV Agusta has announced its new subsidiary will open in Australia in Q4, 2025. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion efforts and underscores its commitment to providing exceptional products and services to motorcycle enthusiasts in the region.
The new subsidiary will be headquartered in Sydney and will oversee all operations in Australia and New Zealand, including sales, marketing and customer support. This development follows the recent separation from PIERER Mobility AG and conclusion of distribution by KTM Australia, set to end later this year.
“We are thrilled to establish a direct presence in Australia,” said Luca Martin, CEO of MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. “This new subsidiary will allow us to continue to serve our Australian and New Zealand customers and strengthen our position in the market. We look forward to bringing our innovative and high-quality motorcycles closer to our passionate riders.”
“Our goal is to build on MV Agusta’s rich legacy while tailoring our approach to meet the unique expectations of riders in this part of the world,” said Adam Beehag, Managing Director of MV Agusta Australia and New Zealand. “As we transition from our partnership with KTM to a dedicated subsidiary structure, our focus is on continuity, growth, and delivering a seamless experience. We’re looking forward to working closely with our dealer network to elevate all aspect of the customer experience – ensuring that every interaction with MV Agusta reflects the passion, precision, and lifestyle that defines our brand.”

The establishment of the Australian subsidiary is expected to bring numerous benefits to local customers, including improved access to the latest MV Agusta models, enhanced customer support and a more robust supply chain for parts and accessories. In addition to working closely with the existing dealer network to ensure a smooth transition and continued excellence in service, the new subsidiary also plans to expand the network nationwide. This strategic growth will make it easier for customers across Australia to access MV Agusta’s offerings and support services.
With a rich heritage of engineering excellence and a reputation for producing some of the world’s most iconic motorcycles, MV Agusta says it is poised to make a significant impact in Australia and New Zealand.
