The Yamaha Racing Experience gives riders the chance to do laps with WorldSBK racers and other stars of the track.
Want to get on track with WorldSBK racers Remy Gardner, Andrea Locatelli and more? Yamaha Motor Europe has confirmed the Yamaha Racing Experience (YRE) will return in 2026, with the two-day event locked in for 18-19 June at Italy’s Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
The annual gathering gives Yamaha R-Series owners the rare chance to ride their own bikes on a Grand Prix circuit alongside some of the brand’s biggest racing names, blending serious track time with behind-the-scenes access to the Yamaha racing world.
A major drawcard for 2026 will be the opportunity to share the circuit with current WorldSBK stars Remy Gardner and Andrea Locatelli. Rather than simply appearing as guest celebrities, both riders will be actively involved across the event, riding on track with participants and offering first-hand insight into lines, braking points and the finer details that separate fast from factory fast.

Hosted at the legendary Misano venue, the event is designed to mirror the life of a factory-supported rider, with structured sessions, technical support and the chance to mix with Yamaha’s global racing family.
The Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team will be on hand with Locatelli and Xavi Vierge, while Gardner will represent the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK squad alongside 2025 Supersport World Champion Stefano Manzi. For many attendees, rolling out of pitlane with riders of this calibre will be the highlight of the two days.
Yamaha’s factory FIM Endurance World Championship team, reigning champions Yamalube YART, will also attend with Marvin Fritz, Karel Hanika and Leandro ‘Tati’ Mercado adding further star power.
Adding a strong heritage flavour, the Yamaha Racing Heritage Club will bring a selection of iconic race machines back to the circuit, accompanied by legends Giacomo Agostini, Carlos Lavado and Luca Cadalora. Previous editions have welcomed guests such as Valentino Rossi and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, with more VIP announcements expected closer to the date.

Off the bike, YRE participants will have access to rider signings, meet-and-greets and technical workshops with Yamaha staff, offering a unique insight into what drives the brand’s global racing success.
Places are strictly limited and open to owners of Yamaha R-Series models – R1M, R1, R9, R7 and R6 – including GYTR variants. Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
