The CFMOTO 800MT-X LS (Low Seat) expands the brand’s midsize adventure bike range, offering the same spec with less seat height.
The CFMOTO 800MT-X made a strong impression when it launched earlier this year – and now there’s a new variant for those who like their adventure bikes a little closer to the ground – the CFMOTO 800MT-X LS.
The new 800MT-X LS (Low Seat) takes everything that’s made the standard model a standout and repackages it into a more accessible configuration. Most notably, the seat height has dropped from 870mm to a more manageable 830mm, thanks to revised suspension front and rear. Importantly, the seat foam remains untouched – meaning comfort and support stay intact.
Instead, the LS uses fully adjustable YU’AN suspension with 190mm of travel at both ends, dropping the centre of gravity and helping lower-speed handling. Ground clearance comes in at a healthy 200mm, and despite the lower stance, CFMOTO says there’s no major compromise in performance or spec.
CFMOTO has retained the full list of flagship features from the regular 800MT-X: the 799cc parallel twin (borrowed from KTM), Bosch cornering ABS and IMU, traction control, cruise control, quickshifter and multiple ride modes. Riders also get a 22.5L tank, 7-inch vertical TFT display, adjustable windscreen, LED lighting, TPMS and rally-style seat – all for the same introductory ride-away price of $14,990.
The 800MT-X LS is finished exclusively in Nebula Black and is available now in limited numbers.
