MOTO GUZZI V85 TT NAPAPIJRI

The Moto Guzzi V85 TT Napapijri has been unveiled.

Special-edition Moto Guzzi V85 TT Napapijri adventure tourer pairs Italian outdoor style with heated comforts and a comprehensive electronics package.

The special-edition V85 TT combines a distinctive new look with equipment that should appeal to riders who keep touring when the temperature drops.

The V85 TT Napapijri comes standard with a heated seat and heated grips, along with cruise control, smartphone connectivity and a matching Napapijri travel bag.

Its blue, red and white colour scheme draws on Napapijri’s branding and the Norwegian flag. The white fuel tank carries world-map graphics and the coordinates of North Cape, while “NORDKAPP” lettering on the front mudguard reinforces the northern touring theme.

There’s more detail up close. The upper handlebar clamp features laser-engraved branding from both companies and the coordinates of the North Pole. A five-sided motif borrowed from the front pocket of Napapijri’s Rainforest windbreaker appears on the windscreen and is embroidered into the seat alongside Moto Guzzi’s eagle.

The included Bering Bag continues the outdoor theme, using waxed cotton canvas chosen for durability and weather resistance.

Underneath the special finish sits the V85 TT’s familiar recipe: an 850cc transverse, air-cooled, 90-degree V-twin producing a claimed 80hp, with variable valve timing helping deliver 90 per cent of its torque from 3500rpm.

That accessible torque should suit the bike’s touring brief, whether rolling through country towns or heading onto an unsealed backroad.

A tubular steel frame, spoked wheels with tubeless tyres, an aluminium bashplate and protective handguards provide the chassis and protective hardware. The wheel combination is a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear.

The electronics package includes a six-axis inertial measurement unit supporting cornering ABS and lean-sensitive traction control. Four riding modes — Road, Sport, Offroad and Rain — manage throttle response, traction control and ABS settings.

For longer days, the windscreen offers five manually adjustable positions across 70mm of travel. A five-inch colour TFT display handles riding information, while the standard Moto Guzzi MIA system connects a smartphone for navigation prompts, calls, music and voice-assistant functions through the handlebar controls.

The V85’s distinctive twin round headlights remain, with an eagle-shaped LED daytime running light giving the front end its unmistakable Guzzi signature.

The motorcycle follows a Moto Guzzi and Napapijri clothing collaboration, extending the partnership from riding-inspired casual wear to the bike itself. For touring riders, though, the standard heated equipment and connectivity are likely to be as persuasive as the exclusive finish.
