ROYAL ENFIELD CONTINENTAL GT 750

Royal Enfield reveals Continental GT 750 at EICMA.

Royal Enfield has unveiled the Continental GT 750 at EICMA 2026, promising its highest-performance production motorcycle yet and a sportier take on its established café racer formula.

The new GT will be offered in both unfaired and faired versions, powered by an uprated version of the company’s new 743cc twin-cylinder engine.

Royal Enfield hasn’t supplied power or torque figures for the Continental, but the new Himalayan 750 offers some clues about its potential. Its 743cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin produces 63Nm at 5000rpm, with 90 per cent available from just 3500rpm. An uprated version could give the GT a useful combination of accessible midrange grunt and stronger sporting performance, although its tune and outputs remain unconfirmed.

The Himalayan also raises an interesting question about electronics. Its five ride modes, six-axis inertial measurement unit, cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control and cruise control suggest there’s technology within Royal Enfield’s new 750 platform that could find its way onto the Continental.

None of those features has been confirmed for the GT, however. Royal Enfield’s emphasis on an intentionally analogue character and minimal technology suggests it may take a more selective approach to the café racer’s equipment list.

What is confirmed is a hybrid twin-pod TFT display, intended to integrate contemporary information into the GT’s traditional cockpit layout.

For riders who like the existing Continental’s stripped-back silhouette, the unfaired version carries that familiar café racer look into the new generation. The faired model takes a more focused approach, with lower handlebars providing a sportier riding position.

Royal Enfield describes the 750 as a significant step forward in performance, material quality and component specification. How that translates into suspension, brakes, weight and handling remains to be revealed.

The bikes appeared at EICMA in three colourways – Red Line, TT Blue and Master Clean – spread across the two variants.

Australian pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed. Full specifications should reveal just how much Himalayan technology joins the Continental’s more sporting engine tune.
