Royal Enfield has been ranked the third strongest automobile brand in the world in the Brand Finance Automotive Industry 2026 report.

The result places Royal Enfield among some of the world’s most recognised automotive brands and further strengthens its position as a major global Indian motorcycle manufacturer.

According to Brand Finance, Royal Enfield achieved a Brand Strength Index score of 88.9 out of 100, earning an AAA rating. The brand also recorded a 30 per cent increase in brand value, taking it to US$1.2 billion.

Royal Enfield says the recognition reflects its continued growth in the midsize motorcycle segment, where it focuses on models from 250cc to 750cc.

The company is the oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production, with a history spanning 125 years. Today, Royal Enfield has a presence in more than 80 countries, supported by more than 3200 stores globally and seven international CKD assembly facilities.

Royal Enfield says its appeal is built around timeless design, authentic character and its Pure Motorcycling philosophy, with riding communities and brand-led experiences helping it build connections with riders around the world.

The current Royal Enfield line-up spans 14 internal-combustion models across heritage, cruiser, roadster, adventure and pure sport categories. The company has also entered electric mobility through its new Flying Flea city+ electric mobility brand, which will launch with the Flying Flea C6.

Royal Enfield says the Brand Finance ranking follows other recent recognition, including being ranked highest in overall two-wheeler initial quality in the J.D. Power 2025 study and securing the top position in the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations Dealer Satisfaction Survey.
