Honda Unveils V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype Powered by New V3 Engine with Electronically Controlled Compressor.
Honda has pulled the wraps off the striking V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype at EICMA 2025 in Milan – a concept machine showcasing the company’s next-generation performance technology.
Developed under the concept “Non-Rail Roller Coaster,” the V3R 900 blends Honda’s long experience in motorcycle engineering with a futuristic new powerplant: a water-cooled 75-degree V3 engine featuring an electronically controlled compressor – the first of its kind on a motorcycle. The system allows precise boost management for instant torque and throttle response, giving the 900cc engine performance comparable to a 1200cc unit while maintaining strong environmental efficiency.
Honda says the prototype is designed to offer both “promised thrills” and “reassuring peace of mind,” bringing together high-performance excitement and everyday usability. Visually, the bike features bold asymmetrical side fairings and debuts Honda’s new Flagship Wing tank emblem, set to appear on top-tier production models from 2026.
While still a prototype, the V3R 900 E-Compressor signals Honda’s intent to redefine performance motorcycling through innovation and technology aligned with its 2030 vision of “joyful, free and fun mobility.”
