SW-Motech Open House 2025 draws thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts to Hesse in Germany.
Thousands of motorcyclists from across Europe and beyond descended on Rauschenberg, Germany for SW-Motech Open House 2025 – a three-day motorcycle festival celebrating adventure travel, motorcycle culture and community.
Held on the company’s sprawling HQ grounds in Central Hesse, SW-Motech Open House 2025 once again delivered an unforgettable weekend of test rides, stunt shows, travel talks and behind-the-scenes factory tours. More than 3000 test rides were completed, with Ducati recording its highest number ever at the event.
Dubbed the Road to Rauschenberg, the journey itself was part of the experience for many riders, with visitors travelling more than 1000km from across Europe. Staff from SW-Motech’s branches in Italy, Spain and France joined the ride-in, alongside international visitors from as far as Egypt and Morocco.
Inside the factory, visitors were treated to guided tours, expert product advice, and access to exclusive discounts on luggage, protection gear and accessories. Outside, the festival atmosphere continued with a bustling campsite, beer garden, family zone and more than 50 exhibitors showcasing the latest products from 14 motorcycle manufacturers, including BMW, KTM, Triumph, Yamaha, Royal Enfield and Zero Motorcycles.
The main stage featured a stacked line-up of speakers and storytellers, including solo female traveller Irene Seidler recounting her journey through Iran, and Erik Peters sharing tales of resilience following the theft of his bike during a multi-continent ride. French moto-journalist Lolo Cochet and KTM test rider Thomas Mitterer also gave fans a glimpse into the daily life of pro riders and testers.
The action didn’t stop there. FMX stunt riders thrilled crowds with three daily shows, while live music on Saturday night – headlined by RadioBOB! Rock on Tour and Barbed Wire – turned the event into a full-blown music festival under the stars.
Despite the growing logistical and safety demands of running such a major event, the 2025 OPEN HOUSE ran smoothly from start to finish. With a bigger-than-ever crowd, flawless weather, and an unbeatable mix of riding, gear and community, it’s clear that OPEN HOUSE has become one of Europe’s top calendar events for touring riders and adventure enthusiasts.
SW-Motech has confirmed that planning is already underway for OPEN HOUSE 2026, with promises to raise the bar once again and ensure Rauschenberg remains a must-visit destination for the global riding community.
