An all-new Triumph Trident 800 has been revealed and it will land in Australia in March 2026.

The all-new Triumph Trident 800 has been unveiled and the naked middleweight roadster is aimed at delivering lively real-world performance, rider-focused tech and sharp urban attitude. It’s available to order now from $16,695 rideaway, with Australian showroom arrivals slated for March 2026.

Triumph Tiger 800

New 798cc triple

At the heart of the Trident 800 is an all-new 798cc three-cylinder with triple throttle bodies for instant response, strong mid-range and a howling top end to the 11,500rpm redline. Triumph quotes 85kW (113hp) at 10,750rpm and 84Nm at 8500rpm. Internal highlights include a twist-forged crankshaft, forged conrods, high-compression pistons and a unique cam/balancer setup. Induction sound is tuned via a redesigned airbox and intake trumpets, and the note exits through an upswept sports-style silencer.

Agility and control

A lightweight chassis teams with adjustable Showa suspension for quick steering and composure at speed. Up front is a 41mm USD Showa SFF-BP fork with adjustable compression and rebound; the rear Showa monoshock offers preload and rebound adjustment. Braking is handled by four-piston radial calipers on 310mm discs with braided lines. The split seat sits at 810mm with a narrow standover, and fully fuelled weight is listed at 198kg. Michelin tyres are fitted as standard.
