The Aprilia RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute has been unveiled.
Despite the terrible weather and the cancellation of the last Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP races at Phillip Island, Aprilia has given fans something to celebrate with a special-edition Aprilia RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute honouring the Australian circuit.
The Aprilia RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute combines an exclusive paint scheme with numbered detailing and a standard passenger seat cover, celebrating the Italian manufacturer’s success at the Victorian track.
Aprilia has claimed ten Grand Prix victories at Phillip Island across the world championship’s various classes, along with World Superbike wins aboard the RSV4.
Among those successes was Raúl Fernández’s 2025 MotoGP victory on the RS-GP, which delivered Aprilia its 300th Grand Prix world championship win.
The tribute model wears a white base colour with green panels on the sides and tail, complemented by red wheels. Aprilia says the combination draws on the colours of the Phillip Island circuit logo.
The side panels feature the circuit outline above ‘Phillip Island Circuit’ lettering and a chequered flag motif. A badge on the fuel tank marks Aprilia’s victory tally at the track, while the steering head plate carries the bike’s individual serial number.
Underneath the special graphics, the Tribute uses the existing RS 660 platform, with a 660cc parallel-twin engine producing a claimed 105hp at 10,400rpm and 70Nm at 8400rpm.
The engine acts as a structural element of the chassis, contributing to the compact design that has become a defining feature of Aprilia’s middleweight sportsbike.
Electronics include Aprilia’s aPRC package, with adjustable traction control, wheelie control, engine braking control and engine maps, along with cornering ABS. A six-axis inertial measurement unit supports the electronic rider aids.
Launch control, an up-and-down quickshifter and cruise control are also standard, giving the Tribute the same mix of road and track equipment as the regular RS 660.
The special edition will be displayed on Aprilia’s stand in Hall 9 at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan from 5–8 November.
