Complete MV Agusta electronics package to be included as standard fitment on 2026 models.

MV Agusta has confirmed that every motorcycle in its 2026 range will leave the factory with the brand’s complete electronics package fitted as standard – with no optional software unlocks, add-on packages or activation fees required.

From three-cylinder models through to four-cylinder machines and across all segments, MV Agusta says the full electronics suite will be included in the manufacturer’s recommended retail price.

A CLEAR POSITION IN A CHANGING MARKET

At a time when some premium manufacturers are separating advanced electronics into optional packages, MV Agusta has taken a firm stance. The Italian brand says it remains committed to a rider-focused philosophy, delivering a transparent ownership experience and consistent specification across its lineup.

According to the company, advanced rider aids are no longer optional extras but an integral part of the modern riding experience – and should be included from day one.

Luca Martin, CEO of MV Agusta Motor S.p.A., said: “Every strategic decision at MV Agusta is driven by a customer-centric mindset. This commitment is what allows us to deliver the full experience as standard, with a transparent pricing philosophy and no hidden costs – exactly as our customers expect from a premium brand.”

ELECTRONICS SUITE

Every 2026 MV Agusta model will be equipped as original equipment with:

• 6-axis IMU
• Cornering ABS
• Three Riding Modes plus one Custom mode
• Up and down Quick Shift
• Traction Control (off plus eight levels)
• Front Lift Control
• Engine Brake Control
• Adjustable engine response
• Gas sensitivity settings (Low/Medium/High)
• Max torque engine settings (Low/Medium/High)
• RPM limiter
• Cruise control

The Custom Riding Mode allows riders to upload a personalised engine map from their smartphone, adjusting engine and chassis behaviour. On models equipped with electronic suspension, settings can also be configured digitally. Custom maps can be named, saved and modified – even while riding – with one map at a time uploaded and activated on the bike.

Cruise control is also standard across the range, reinforcing MV Agusta’s focus on everyday usability as well as outright performance.

CONNECTIVITY & RIDER INTERACTION

Electronics on the 2026 MV Agusta lineup extend beyond performance to deliver a fully connected ecosystem.

Standard features include a 7-inch or 5.5-inch TFT display (depending on model), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the MV Ride App, and an integrated GPS tracking device with anti-theft functionality.

MV Agusta claims it is the only manufacturer in its competitive segment to offer an integrated anti-theft system as standard equipment.

The GPS hardware combines tracking, navigation support, trip recording and remote diagnostics in a single module. It enables real-time tracking, geofencing, emergency SMS alerts and ride logging.

MV RIDE APP

The MV Ride App forms the centrepiece of the brand’s connected strategy. Riders can create and store up to 10 personalised Custom Riding Maps via their smartphone, adjusting engine, safety and chassis parameters before uploading one to the motorcycle.

The app also provides access to real-time vehicle data and system status information.

Navigation is handled via turn-by-turn instructions displayed on the TFT dashboard, with optional audio guidance through compatible headsets. Routes can be planned on the smartphone, maps downloaded for offline use, and preferences set to avoid highways or ferries. Optimised routing for fast Enduro riding, including off-road sections where permitted, is also supported.

TRIP LOGBOOK & SAFETY FEATURES

Each ride is automatically recorded via the integrated GPS system, generating a detailed trip logbook. Riders can review lean angle, throttle position, average and maximum speed, total riding time and distance, and gear position. Photos taken during a ride are geo-tagged, allowing a visual record of the journey.

Trips can be shared within the MV Ride community or exported externally.

The integrated anti-theft system sends SMS alerts with GPS coordinates if activated and includes geofencing functionality to notify the owner if the motorcycle moves outside a predefined area.

An Emergency SMS feature can also be set up within the app. In the event of a detected crash, based on predefined speed thresholds, the system automatically alerts a nominated contact with the rider’s location.

Over-the-air firmware updates are supported via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing software updates to be completed through a smartphone without a dealership visit.

Anti-theft, emergency SMS, locate-your-bike and geofencing services are included free of charge for the first year. From the second year, connected services are available via subscription in certain markets.

THE MV AGUSTA PROMISE

With its 2026 strategy, MV Agusta says it is delivering more than just performance – it is delivering a complete motorcycle from the outset.

The brand’s position is clear: no unlocks, no additional packages, no hidden fees. Just the full electronics suite fitted as standard across the entire lineup.
