The Fireblade-powered Honda CB1000GT sports tourer will arrive in Australia in late 2026, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
Honda Australia has confirmed the all-new Honda CB1000GT will arrive locally in late 2026, bringing Fireblade-derived performance, electronic suspension and standard touring equipment to the sports-touring category.
First revealed at EICMA 2025, the CB1000GT is powered by a 1000cc inline four-cylinder engine derived from the CBR1000RR Fireblade.
The engine produces a claimed 110kW and 102Nm, with its power delivery retuned for sports-touring use. Honda says revised fuel injection and throttle-by-wire calibration provide smoother response when opening the throttle, reducing rider fatigue over longer distances while retaining strong performance throughout the rev range.
The CB1000GT is equipped with Honda’s Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment suspension, which electronically adjusts damping to suit different riding conditions.
Cornering ABS and a premium braking package are also standard, while the chassis has been designed to combine sporty handling with the stability required for long-distance touring.
Honda quotes a wet weight of 229kg, excluding the panniers. A narrow profile, centralised weight distribution and revised chassis geometry are intended to make the CB1000GT agile through corners without compromising its touring ability.
The new model will arrive ready for long-distance use, with detachable panniers, cruise control, heated grips, handguards and a centrestand included as standard.
Wind protection is provided by a five-position adjustable windscreen, while a five-inch TFT display incorporates Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, navigation functions and access to calls and music. A USB-C charging outlet is also included.

The 2026 Honda CB1000GT will be offered in Grand Prix Red.
