VicRoads is running a campaign encouraging riders to re-visit their understanding of safe riding skills and the road rules.
The new campaign is in response to a rising motorcycle road toll in Victoria, and it’s good to see a response from government which isn’t all about extra policing and increased penalties.
The campaign uses the metaphor of how you can expect Curve Balls when you ride – the unexpected. Too many riders aren’t prepared for these Curve Balls, with crashes the result.
Even experienced, good riders should be brushing up on their skills, so check out the Spokes webpage for a few minutes, and encourage your riding mates to do the same.
