The CFMOTO 800MT-ES is a middleweight adventure tourer that brings semi-active suspension, strong spec and ride-away pricing under $20K.
The MY26 CFMOTO 800MT-ES will land in Australia in late May. It’s a new middleweight adventure tourer that introduces semi-active suspension tech to the brand’s local line-up.
Headlining the new model is CFMOTO’s Intelligent Suspension System (ISS), which automatically adjusts damping front and rear in real time based on terrain, rider input and load. The aim is to deliver a more composed ride without the need for manual setup, whether riding solo, two-up or fully loaded.
The 800MT-ES is powered by a 799cc parallel twin engine and comes equipped with a comprehensive electronics package, including cruise control, multiple riding modes, heated grips and seat, and Bosch-based safety systems.
Four ride modes – Sport, Rain, Off-road and All-terrain – tailor throttle response and intervention levels to suit conditions, while a Bosch six-axis IMU enables cornering ABS and traction control. A bi-directional quickshifter, drag torque control and wheelie control system further round out the rider aids.
A large 8-inch TFT display provides a modern interface, with additional functionality available via CFMOTO’s RIDE app connectivity. Tyre pressure monitoring is also included as standard.
Chassis hardware centres around a chrome molybdenum steel trellis frame using the engine as a stressed member, paired with an aluminium swingarm and a steering stabiliser for added high-speed composure. The ISS setup incorporates 41mm USD forks and a rear monoshock, both automatically adapting to changing conditions.
Braking is handled by J.Juan components, with dual 320mm front discs and a 260mm rear disc, supported by cornering ABS. The bike runs on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination, fitted with Michelin Anakee adventure tyres.
Touring capability is a key focus, with factory-fitted alloy luggage included as standard, along with an upright riding position and long-distance ergonomics aimed at all-day comfort.
The MY26 800MT-ES will be available in Glacier White and Neptune White, arriving in Australian dealerships from late May.
Pricing is set at $18,490 ride away, with the model backed by CFMOTO’s three-year factory warranty.
