CFMOTO’s new 800NK Sport and 800NK Advanced will arrive next month offering a KTM-derived engine and a list of specifications unmatched by the competition.

At their core is a 100hp machine weighing in at under 190kg… so performance will be solid up to silly speeds, and all coming in at the introductory prices of $10,990 Ride Away (800NK Sport) and $12,490 (800NK Advanced) Ride Away.
Controlling the horsepower is a chrome-molybdenum steel frame with an alloy swingarm and adjustable KYB suspension.
The 799cc parallel-twin, DOHC engine with 285° firing order produces 81NM of torque at 8000rpm. It has three riding modes, a slipper clutch and quickshifter.

Lightweight forged aluminium pistons and chrome ceramic-coated piston pins are employed to reduce piston weight and, therefore, reduce reciprocating mass, resulting in a faster revving engine. The pistons are connected via forged cracked connecting rods for precision fit and increased service life. The lightweight 75° forged one-piece crankshaft with plain bearings also reduces the rotating masses inside the engine, improving the throttle response when accelerating or decelerating. The 285° firing order creates a similar power delivery and sound characteristics of a V-twin engine.

The riding postion is upright yet sporty, while the 795mm standard seat height and narrow seat cushion shape assist the rider with reaching the ground. There’s an optional 820mm genuine accessory high seat also available.
The brakes are from J.Juan, 4-piston radial-mount calipers gripping massive 320mm discs, with Bosch ABS.
The electronics are impressive with standard cruise control and Bluetooth phone connectivity – the Advanced model steps it up to include Apple CarPlay.

Other features exclusive to the Advanced include a standard steering damper and remote starting – if the Bluetooth key is within 2 metres of the motorcycle, the righthand switch block can be used to power the ignition and start the bike.
