All-new BMW R 1300 RS and R 1300 RT models landing in Australia from the third quarter of 2025.
The all-new BMW R 1300 RS and R 1300 RT models will land in Australia in Q3 with prices ranging from a tad over $23k to more than $40k.
Both BMW R 1300 RS and RT models are powered by a 1300cc two-cylinder boxer engine with ShiftCam technology making claimed peak output of 107kW (145hp) @ 7750rpm and 149Nm at 6500 rpm. Power is fed to the rear wheel via a six-speed with an anti-hopping clutch and a shaft drive. BMW’s Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) with fully automated clutch operation and manual or automated shifting is available as an option on the R 1300 RT.
There will be four model variants of the BMW R 1300 RS: Basic version ($23,090), Triple Black ($30,890), Performance ($29,890) and Option 719 ($34,190). Riding Modes Pro with the additional modes “Dynamic” and “Dynamic Pro”, along with riding mode pre-selection, will be available as optional equipment on the R 1300 RS.
The R 1300 RT will also be available in four models: Basic version ($39,990), Triple Black at $40,690, Impulse ($40,940) and Option 719 ($44,990). For those who want to tour two-up, a Comfort Passenger Package includes heated seats, heated grips and a heated backrest for the passenger. And for those after a sportier riding experience, the RT can be optioned with the sport brake, the advanced Shift Assistant Pro and the all-new DCA electronic suspension.
A number of additional optional extras and option packs will be made available on both the BMW R 1300 RS and RT models.
