Route 66 Centennial Tour

Route 66 Centennial Tour lures global riders and there are only a few spots left.

EAGLERIDER says its 2026 Route 66 Centennial Tour is attracting strong international interest as motorcyclists line up to celebrate 100 years of America’s most famous highway.

The 16-day guided ride will run from 23 June to 8 July, 2026, marking both the centenary of Route 66 and 250 years of the United States. Numbers are capped at just 66 riders and the company says only a handful of places remain.

The tour follows the full length of the “Mother Road” from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier, covering around 3560km (2212 miles) across eight states and taking in many of the route’s best-known landmarks.

Highlights include Cadillac Ranch in Texas, the neon-lit Blue Swallow Motel in New Mexico, the Wild West town of Oatman in Arizona and the traditional finish at Santa Monica Pier on the Pacific coast.

Midway through the journey riders will reach Tulsa, Oklahoma from 27–29 June for the AAA Route 66 Road Fest. The Expo Square SageNet Center will host one of the largest official centennial celebrations with classic cars, live music and historical displays. Attendance at the festival is optional.

Each participant will receive a custom Route 66 Centennial Riding Jacket created exclusively for the event and limited to the 66 riders on the tour.

“At its heart, Route 66 has always connected people,” said EAGLERIDER CEO Sebastian Schoepe. “In its centennial year, riders from different countries and across the U.S. will come together not just as visitors, but as a community shaped by the same passion for the ride.”

Previous participants have praised the international flavour of the trip. Irish rider Conor M., who completed a 2024 tour, said the mix of nationalities and local encounters made the experience unforgettable.

The package includes premium accommodation, multilingual tour guides, a support vehicle, luggage transport, daily breakfast, fuel on riding days and a farewell event. Bikes on offer include Harley-Davidson Touring models, the BMW R 1250 and the Yamaha Ténéré 700.
